Composed
by the States of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul,
the south has grown into an incredible industrial deveolpment in the last
fifty years. It concentrates the largest contingents of european immigrants
during the 20th century, mainly from Italy, Germany and Poland, whose
influence is strongly reflected in the local culture and architecture.
At the very south of Brazil, the city of Iguassu Falls is one of the most
famous destinations for tourists lodging gigantic water falls in the National
Park of Iguassu, in the frontier with Argentine and Paraguay.
