CARNIVAL
PARTY
Carnival
has always been mainly a street party. People come of in the streets to
sing and dance and stay there for hours and hours, meeting the differents
groups and singing the different songs, disguised in some funny costume,
so that one may not be recognised. In the main avenues, groups come walking
down the hills in theme costumes usually linked to theme stories and songs,
inspired in some folkloric character. It is the famous carnival parade,
with music bands, singers and lots of people literally in the streets
and the irresistable sound spreads all over the place.
